IAHLA and FNESC have been informed that the second call for New Relationship Trust Bursaries is now open. NRT Bursaries are available to First Nation students pursuing a post-secondary education from a recognized institution. Bursaries are awarded to students pursuing trades certificates and diplomas. To encourage and financially assist Aboriginal people to pursue post-secondary education in disciplines relevant to BC Hydro and, where possible, to provide recipients with work experience.
The HSBC Bank Canada Aboriginal Student Award is an award to recognize and support Indigenous students transitioning from BC's Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association (IAHLA) to the University of Victoria.
