About Aboriginal Learning Links
The BC Aboriginal Post-Secondary Education and Training Partners Group consists of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Metis Nation of BC, Ministry of Advanced Education, First Nations Educations Steering Committee, Indigenous and Adult Higher Learning Association, and Service Canada.
This partners group developed this website to provide a "one-stop shop" for Aboriginal adult and post-secondary learners to obtain information on the programs available to support their learning - including financial support, housing, transportation, career planning or employment services and childcare.
Named the “Aboriginal Learning Links Project” or ALL, the portal website will empower student and frontline student advocates with the tools and knowledge to effectively plan post-secondary opportunities.
The Partners Group will provide funding and staff time to maintain a simple, updated, searchable website for students and their advisors (at Band, secondary school, post-secondary institution etc.) to help them identify sources of support, and later, tips on how to combine these sources and opportunities for learner and advisor networking.
